Bladder / Prostate Disorder

As the men mature, prostate goes through two different period of growth. Once at the time of puberty, when prostate grows double its size while the other at the age of 25 years, which often result in BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia). It is common among older men, affecting about 70% of men in their 60 year of age and 80% in their 80 year of age. Going bathroom many times is the first symptom of this disorder. Other symptoms include dribbling, leaking urination, double getting proper flow of urination, staining when urinating, weak urinary stream, sense that the bladder has not emptied completely etc.

Proper urination occur when muscle and nerves work together to hold urine and to release it, when there is something wrong in this process, it can cause problem during urination. Other factors such as increase in pressure of bladder and stress on kidney can also lead to cause abnormal function of bladder. This problem occurs when the cells of prostate gland begin to multiply. The addition cells swell that squeezes the urethra and reduce the limit of urine flow. Sometime it can be so severe that no urine can leave the bladder and cause kidney problem and other urinary tract infections.
